[StarCitizen] Take the "TopGear" Challenge

Ok so, you may be wondering what this is. Basicly I need some help from our many many org members. for a project I have underway I need certain data from a number of different pilots for each and every ship we have currently. and right now everyone has access to every ship. so perfect.

 

Here's the Challenge, You are now The Stig. Play vanduul swarm mode, with the base configuration of every ship, yes all of them, and fight until your first death to the vanduul, if you hit a rock and die the run is not valid. then report them to me. I'll put a list of all the ships down below.

 

Yes I know 1.3 is coming and has some changes to some ships, such as the hornet, so please indicate if you are doing your run during 1.2 or 1.3 and please try to get all your runs on the same version. I know this is a bit of an ask, but you will be helping the org out. Thanks all

 

EDIT: a situation has been brought to my attention that some ships are base fitted with ballistic only weapons. if this is the case, note the wave on which fighting was no longer viable, and move to the next ship in the list.

Number of rounds we can endure with each ship in vanduul swarm before dying once.

Also, the Vanduul Scythe and Glaive are included in the free flight code, would you need data for those?

Do I need to re-test the Gladiator? I flew it the other day and got to wave 17 without dying.

I will help as well, but it may be limited based on individual skill.

this is not to judge skill, but to judge all the ships compared to each other. and having numbers from a large group of pilots for every ship makes the comparision of each ship to the others makes my final numbers much better. If you don't feel comfortable publishing publicly your wave numbers feel free to PM me the form

Yeah heres my 1.2 list for what I got done:

 

• Avenger Wave 7 - Killed by Vanduul
• Cutlass Black Wave 6 - All Thrusters Destroyed
• Gladius Wave 6 - Laser weapons destroyed and ballistic weapons dry
• M50 Wave 4 - Killed by Vanduul
• Merlin Wave 6 - Weapons destroyed by a stray missile
• Gladiator Wave 10 (Cockpit obstructed see Here) - Collision with Vanduul due to thruster destruction
• Mustang Delta Wave 3 - Collision with Little King due to thruster issues
