I am always unhappy. It's always one thing or another. I tell myself I will be happy once I finish my bucket list, but it just grows bigger and bigger.

Edit: Bucket list right now.

-Upgrade i3 to Xeon.

-Grab an SFX-L 500W from Silverstone.

-Grab a 1TB 850 EVO.

-Pickup an RVZ02 to upgrade my SG05 (still not sure about this one, but I've been waiting for the RVZ02 for like a year).

-Get a Noctua NH-L9i since I won't be able to use my Seidon 120V in the RVZ02.

It's gonna get worse too.

I'm not unhappy xD for 50€ the q9400 packs a Freaking punch! And it is a quad core! Runs BF4 almost maxed out at 3GHz (Won't overclocke higher... The average is 3.5Ghz but the ottery did not favor me)

eh, my RAM is mismatched but it works... kind of.  I still need to solve this issue, but I don't really have any bad feelings about this.

I should have done a little more research when buying my SSD because I ended up with, well, a good one, but I could have gotten a little better for a fair bit less money

The only other things I don't love at the moment are because they are due for an upgrade, or it's not practical at the moment.  I would like to get a much nicer monitor but I'm waiting until I can setup a new desk, which probably won't be for a very long time.  And I need a new video card, but I know that and I'm planning on upgrading when Pascal comes out so not really feeling bad about that.

Oh I almost forgot why I even posted here - the #1 thing that bugs me is the 4770k I ended up with.  It should honestly have been binned as a 4770, it just will not over clock.  It's a struggle to get it to 4.0 GHz and it takes way too much voltage to do so.

My only complaints are my gpu, and I should have gone with the 3000 rpm Noctuas, just because I didn't realize they were only a few bucks more.

I am always unhappy, I have spent a fortune over the last few years, everytime I think its done I get an itch and buy the latest thing.

I went from SLI 980 to SLI 980TI which was just stupid

I went from 4790K to X99 and a 5820K which again was dumb

I went from 1080p 144hz to ROG Swift then added on the side a 3840x1440 curved samsung

I have just dropped money on a Intel 750 NVME drive which again was totally uneccessary

Its never ending - must stop

I wish I'd have done more research on my PSU. I haven't had any issues, and it IS dead quiet, (main reason I bought it) but I keep hearing nasty things about Corsair PSUs.

Also, I bought my GTX 970 precisely 18 days before the OMG 3.5GB OF RAM issue came to light, so there's that. I only game at 1080p, so I doubt I'll have to worry about it anytime soon.

i like my system, but i do wish i had gone with intel instead of amd.  the fx8320 just doesnt perform.  i'd like to fix my ram issue eventually.  12GB with different frequencies and latencies just isnt efficient. and im becoming less and less of a fan of the Air540, the cooling options are nice, but i'd like to get a level10 case and run custom cooling instead of an AIO.

i actually did the same thing.  i havent had issues with my cx750 despite all the terrible things ive heard about it. and got my 970strix before the 3.5gate issues and the strix power delivery issues came up.   but so far it hasnt really been a problem

I also wish I would have gone with an i5 instead of my 8320 when I got it in 2011. I'll upgrade it in 2 years when I upgrade my GPUs.

I wish, my computer would stop giving me the middle finger :P

Replaced MB 3 Times, CPU once, RAM once. and still rejects booting :( I want to finish playing my Witcher 3 in 4K it was so much fun...

Just so you know I bought the parts for the computer I bought the parts BACK IN JULY 2015, Gave out on me in like late august early September and all I got to use is my crappy old 2012 Alienware which I burned out in 2014, its super slow and sucks at everything. *Hint* It has been having a massive delay even when I am typing right now :o

Nope.

Whenever I'd put hardware together in the past which wasn't "optimal", instead of hating on it, I spent time learning why and how to resolve any issues I ran in to.

Being unhappy with a glorified toy is a silly way to waste your energy and a very 1st world problem.

You sir, have too much disposable income.

I'd love to downsize my rig, but it can wait until my components are really low end.

I'm happy overall with my build, but if I got the option to get a different GPU and case, I probably would go for it, purely for noise levels and higher FPS, even if it meant higher temps.

Eh, mostly aesthetic things right now. I want a custom shroud, sleeved cables, and different fans.

I don't want to spend money right now though. QQ

I can't complain. I have the exact system I wanted, and after doing a lot of research picking my parts, they run exactly as I was expecting them to.

This. I'm always looking to upgrade it though, have a second 780ti coming (should arrive tomorrow woohoo) and am looking at another 8GB kit of RAM. Because raisins. Really want a 34" curved monitor as well... 27" is starting to feel small...

I'm in sort of the same position as you concering the monitor. Owning a 24" atm at it's starting to feel small, was thinking about upgrading to a 27" .

Would you advise going to a 27" or would say skip it and go straight to 34" ?

On topic: Wish I had found this forum before I started my build.

Should've gone for an i5 instead of i7.

Regret buying a 128GB SSD instead of a 250GB, but at the time SSD's were expensive per GB unlike now.

Wish I had invested more in my GPU instead of trying to cut costs on the GPU part.

Especially with that top PSU mounted case, artifacting asus r9 280x.

Dissapointed with dell s2240l as well when a small scratch was made on left bottom side. isnt visible in games much, but on uniform background
