Are you unhappy with your computer build?

I'd stick with it another year and see if Nvidia puts out something really impressive in the 70 series for Pascal or if AMD has something great in the 80 or 90 series in Arctic Islands. You gotta think one of the two vendors will put out something pretty impressive with the massive process size shrink in the next gen GPUs plus HBM2.

Yeh but I could sell my 770 right now and get a 780Ti for not much more, which kills 1080p

Why did I think a Green Drive was going to be a good OS drive.

Oh and I regret getting my Lenovo P580 when I saw that Costco was selling the U510 for the same price one day later. Did not realize that the hinge design on the P580 was terrible. As a result, the screen is now bent and the plastic tabs on the hinge are coming apart.

A little bit...

I bought Fractal Design R5 case for 113$ before doing enough research and just thinking "this is the best case ever, I have to get it". Should've went for Fractal Design S which costs 80$.

I regret spending so much money (216$) ony my Maximus Vii Hero motherboard, I mostly took it for looks (even though I don't have a fcking window on my case), could've easily find 100$ cheaper MB with same functions.....

I feel a bit mad that I didn't know about Skylake when I buildt this computer (completed my build at the start of this september) and bought an I5 4690k (upgrading to i7 4790k soon) which means I am not as future proof as I could be with skylake.

Every now and then I just sit and think how I would spend that money differently if I was able to go back.

I guess I'll just have to jerk off before making so important decisions since I was so hyped for this PC (was using a potato before that and had never experienced a powerfull machine).

Only thing I'm unhappy with is my CPU. I'm still rocking a AMD 1055T. I'm just waiting for the new AMD's to drop and it's feeling like a lifetime.

Fairly happy with mine, but I would love to go the liquid cooling route and jump to a 980Ti. It all comes down to money, sadly. The truth of the matter is I don't play games that much anymore. It's just that when I do, I don't want one single dropped frame. High expectations...

I spent a long time, and a lot of money on my computer to make it look cool while being somewhat functional. The whole rigid tubing an all. I completed the build in January 2015, but have never been satisfied with it. It looks awesome; however, it almost makes me depressed in a sense. Here are a few things I plan on changing:

New UV LED strips instead of cheap cathodes.

Adding a third radiator to the rear exhaust.

Using EK 90 degree angle fittings where bends are too tight.

Replacing ALL fans with EK Vardars.

New PWM controller.

Re-bend every tube in the system.

New UV coolant with Mayhem Perls mixed in. (Yes I know this is for shows only, but I'd like to see how long it will last.)

The bends look great, but there are small blemishes here and there which I couldn't fix since I was on a tight budget, and ran out of tubing. You can view the build on my profile.

Are you unhappy with your build for whatever reason?

mayhems aurora 2 will last longer, it has been developed for up to one year in a loop. (Im verry happy with my build, only wish i had planned how to drain my custom loop... )

I'm pretty happy with my build, I am trying to achieve the mindset to not always want more and more.

Okay I could use some new intake fans and a new GPU + some RAM but I don't need it for what I want with my PC.

Yes I can say that I'm happy with my PC.

Ever since I built my PC I've had a huge variety of GPUs. Different 670s, 970s, and a 7970 and I have always had some bad issues with stuttering, until my GTX 980. Since I got my 980, I've felt content with my PC for the first time since I built it, back when the 3570k was the king of the hill.

Yes, I regret going for mATX. It's still far too big to be small and portable. I would have rather gone for an miTX build or a regular ATX build. Other than that, I love it.

My GTX 750Ti is a solid performer but struggles to reach 60FPS at max settings on certain games such as Rocket League and Farcry 3. Tempted to buy a GTX 960 or 970 at Christmas depending on how much money I get :D Also, my motherboard only supports Sata 2 inputs so I didn't buy a great SSD because of that :(

Generally I ain't unhappy. But I hate the GPU and PSU for noise.
GPU is reference cooler... although that means I can replace the cooler and go for watercooling easily.

PSU I bought is just barely below my needs if I wanted to crossfire 2xR9 290-s. And also quite loud... loudest part when system idle... and it is loud.
