What is the best LGA 1155 cpu available?

FrizL

I'm doing a "budget build" (I got a free i5 3470), and I'm sure the cpu would be fine but I am curious what the best cpu for the 1155 socket is. Google had mixed results and I know the people on here have knowledge from person experience/testing. Thanks for any ideas you have for me.

The best CPU that was available for the LGA 1155 Platform is the 3770K. They can be found on eBay.

3770k but if you're unsure if you motherboard has the bios version necessary get a 2500k or 2700k

If its running a 3470 then there is no doubt a 3770K will work.
