Wireless Router connected to my isp provided router

I have a linksys wrt310n router from a previous setup but have recently had to change to an at&t uverse plan and router (parent's plan). The at&t router only has b and g wireless capabilities, while the linksys has b/g/n.

How would I connect/setup the linksys router to the at&t one to allow devices to connect to the linksys router?

Connect an ethernet cord from one of the ports on the AT&T modem to the Internet/WAN port on the wireless router.

Should be that easy. I'd suggest calling and asking for your AT&T modem to be put in bridge mode.

Remember to configure your router with a new SSID, WPA2 protection (with a good secure password, make it 12+ characters), and remember to choose the right channel (I can help with any of these if you need).

If it's a capable router, surely you can use that router as the main router? Try plugging the line in directly into the better router and see if that runs.

If you can't, then you'll probably want to disable wireless on the new router and just have the old router as an access point.
