Anti-glare film for laptop displays?

I just saw a new acer laptop with haswell, 1080p IPS screen and a very good price. Unfortunately, the screen is glossy. I saw a ton of good anti-glare screen protectors for phones and tablets, so I was wondering: Is there such a thing for laptops? Preferably one which doesn't reduce the viewing angles?

The budget is no issue as long as it does the job well.

If the budget is no issue, how about getting a business class laptop where you won't get a glossy screen :)

But to answer you question, yes there is. However, some aren't great.. they are more just a texture plastic than a special anti-glare coating, so you'll lose sharpness. I can't recommend any, because the product I used to know, was discontinued ages ago. It was from 3M however, if that helps. So be sure to look at reviews.

Here is one I quickly found, to show that they do indeed exists:

http://www.amazon.com/Anti-glare-Screen-Protector-Laptop-Notebook/dp/B00CJ2W8NO/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1376431777&sr=8-10&keywords=anti-glare+film+laptop

Obviously find one that fits your laptop screen size also, and easy to put and remove without leaving residue.

The thing is, I can't find any other laptop with a good matte IPS full-HD screen at our e-tailers at even a higher budget. The next one to fit my bill is a Zenbook prime which is almost double the cost, is smaller and doesn't have haswell yet.

Very good. Well If you cant' find reviews of them, I would try a bunch of them until I find one I like. If the first one is fine, then perfect. They are inexpensive anyway.

Of course try your best to find reviews, as you don't want to fal with one that leaves bubbles everywhere, and can't remove or leaves glue everywhere.
