So I was messing around with foobar2000 and WASAPI when I noticed that when I switch to the WASAPI (event) headphone setting nothing plays out of my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's. After looking through Windows sound devices in the taskbar, I noticed that Windows thinks that my Sennheiser's are plugged into the left and right RCA jacks in the back of my Xonar when they are actually plugged into the quarter inch audio jack. For some odd reason even though windows thinks they are plugged into the RCA jacks, no matter what I do I am unable to get it to recognize that it is displaying the wrong connection type and if I try to test audio from the quarter inch jack, nothing plays out of the headphones. And for an even stranger reason, Windows has labeled the quarter inch audio jack as a S/PDIF Pass through Device.

I will include 2 pictures of this, the first one will show what my headphones are currently working on and the second one will show what they are supposed to work with.

I have no clue how this happened and it would be much appreciated if somebody could help me resolve this, as I can't use WASAPI properly with windows doing this.

Setting "use this device" for the quarter inch jack does not work.
