I have absolutely no experience or idea what i'm doing does that work?

Well im sure you can learn and wont act like an asshole

true once I finish sleeping dogs I will probably give dota a shot.

it's my best character, so I use it pretty much every time, I have a positive win/lose with medusa.

I gave Dota a shot and I am dissapoint, if someone who knew what they were doing when teaching me, I could possibly give it another chance

Its a lot too learn. I mean seriously i play that game almost constantly and I am still surprised at the things people will do with characters

Dude expanding your horizons can prove to be the best thing you can do. I used to play Bane constantly however then I tried Io and now me and my friend can lvl 1 roshan as ursa and io. Also i recently began to play puck and i am unstoppable

Don't play with the same hero constantly, at least play with a few different support heroes at start.
