Do you have enough of your friends that play on a PC over a console?

I've been building and PC gaming since I was in about 8th grade. I've always been fascinated by the building and upgrading part of it and was into it for a while now and most of the time, I would play online with a few friends I actually knew. I'm very athletic and most of my friends who come over are shocked I'm into this stuff for whatever reason that is and almost all of them play console.

 

During my high school years, I had maybe 4 or 5 friends TOPS that played PC games and 1 that built them. EVERYONE else played console and because of that, half my time playing is between the two when  I really do enjoy my PC very, very much.

 

I'm in college now, and I have a few friends that play PC games....but.....they play LoL on a laptop and thats about as far as it goes. Very disappointing.....

 

I keep reading that PC gaming is the only reason that PC sales aren't completely dead. I disagree with that statement but that's what I'm readin unfortunately.

 

Anyone hear actually have A LOT of friends who play and have been playing for a while?!!

I have a bunch of friends that play online, I am not one of them though.  I can't stand playing online for whatever reason.

Of course gaming is the reason the consumer level hardware market still exists. What else drives it? PC gaming has always been in decline and the advent of tablets and Ultrabooks has put a serious dent in OEM desktop sales. Just let people play what they want. Some people prefer a simpler and arguably cheaper gaming experience :)

I do have 1 friend who has a rig but he's hopelessly lost in terms of getting connected and getting a steam, skype, teamspeak etc.

Anyone I know personally, plays on console. Most of the people I talk to don't play games at all. Or use computers much at all. I have to, like, talk to people I know

I have a few, but we mix it up sometimes with console exclusives or games to just play together when we're bored. We mostly have gaming laptops because dat college life, but other than that it's a sea of 360s and a handful of PS3s, since most got theirs free with their laptop.

Most play on PC, others play in Wii and DS/3DS. Trying to get them to play a few videogames with me is hard. :(

Luckily all my friends have bearable pc's so are fine gaming on pc with me but mostly its just rts games that they bought on pc and all the other games for console

oh dear was that YOUR computer i just downloaded a few dozen viruses on when you weren't paying attention?

Most of the people I play games with I've met playing online games, so obviously they would be PC gamers. :P

Not much, they are stuck on PS1, PS2 and counter strike. They can't buy good rig. They do play Dota heavily, I do not play Dota.

My buddies from work are PC gamers.

 

Other friends and family (like my cousins) are more console gamers (PS3 mostly)

My friends are all PC gamers because most of the games that they play are only available on PC.

I have a lot of mates that play just PC, however there are still those that still think console is much better and they play that.....
