I just ordered a new case and i know that my 8 Pin connector for the CPU is too short, so i need an extension. The only one i can find is this one  http://www.frys.com/product/6172149?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG  but im not sure if it'll work because it does say that it is a PCI cable. I checked around a little bit more and no other site says PCI, not even the NZXT website. So is this okay to use?

Besides the fact that for some reason I can't open the link, you said that the title said "PCIe extension" They are wired differently but that shouldn't matter. and extension cable would work, I gave that link because when I clicked on the one another person had posted it said that the item was discontinued.

I said it was titled as a PCI extension, but for only that website. If you went to Newegg, Amazon, or the NZXT website it is just listed as a motherboard extension cable. Just being a little paranoid about it really. Dont want it somehow damaging my system. But yeah i figured. An extension is an extension,
