I was jokingly adding how he should make the story of the forums since he made a really detailed SSD description. He actually freaking did it.

 

 

There was once a humble Canadian, who like many others, had a passion for computers, whether it was hardware or software. He ran a small YouTube channel named "Linus Tech Tips", which soon blossomed into a community of sharing videos, views and recommendations.
On the 2nd January 2013 this Canadian, along with the help of a handful of colleagues and friends decided to create a forum, entitled "Linus Tech Tips". This was the medium for computer enthusiats to share their creations, and engage in discussions with others that shared their passion. The early days were rough, buggy forum software and constant maintenance was holding it back as the company providing the software had not delivered and had let a community down. But this was not the end for Linus Tech Tips, after a long and hard process and constant bug fixes, the Canadian decided it was time to up and go, move to a brighter future, that future was IPBoard.
IPBoard allowed the moderating team to take a load of their already intense dedication to something for little to no gain. They kept the forum alive in its darkest days and pulled it out of the dirt until it was able to prevail and develop into what it is known as today. Eight months strong and with an ever expanding community the future is bright for the forum of Linus Media Group.
