Asus VN279Q vs VX279Q

At the identical price points of $299.99 @ Newegg, which model would you chose for a dual screen setup?  The VX is an IPS panel and the VN is an AMVA panel and is Vesa compatible (could be useful, but not a requirement).  Most of my time is spent working with CAD software and audio editing.  From what I can tell, the AMVA panel has a better contrast ratio than the IPS, but the IPS panel is more vibrant?
