Mad max supersample

Is there a way to supersample mad max to 1440p without setting 1440p for the whole PC?

You mean downsampling? You can find this in the nvidia control panel. I think it is called, DSR, or dynamic super resolution.

I dont know where it is in the nvidia control panel, but I know if you turn it on, you can change the resolution in your game, without changing it for the whole desktop

As shown above just set all the DSR options to on and then you'll have the option of changing to the resolutions in-game (some don't support it).
