Upgrade Or Build A New System

I have a older system and I needs a new graphics card. It will be a 7870 (a deal makes it $180 until August 12). Or do I build a whole new system (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1nCf5)(the CPU and mobo won't change but other items might change). Do I add a 7870 so I can play be games this year. Or build a new pc and not play games until I buy a graphics card. Thank you for any help.

Intel core 2 quad

XFX nforce 680i lt

4gb of ddr2 800 MHz ram

GeForce 9500 gt 256 mb

Yes upgrade! also wait for the 9000 series Graphics cards from AMD coming this september, its said to be 15% faster than GTX 770 (correct me if im wrong).

Question ? is 700 dollars your budget for this build and do you have any objections to a micro atx build

But will the 9000 series be around 200-240 USD. If not i will get a 7870.Also I don't have anything against Micro atx builds. It just needs to have 4 ram slots.

Wait for new GPUs from Radeon, there will be low-end as well for sure.

This build looks solid, wouldn't really change much other than OCZ PSU's aren't the greatest, but not bad either.

Either get a 770, 760, 7970, 7950, or 7870 GHZ now or wait for AMD to send out their new series of cards (Supposed to be out next month, but we never really know)
