a way to play PS3 games on PC?

i have som old PS3 games like little big planet 2 and i was wundering if there was a way to play them on a PC.

Unfortunately not.

Emulation is one way of approaching it, but it's extremely difficult and .. well, not worth the time. Theoretically is possible, never tried it personally although you could do some research on it since not every second person emulates PS/XBOX games.

The Hackingnation link I posted doesn't.

 

The top link wants you to do surveys or install stuff to get the Bios files.

 

 

But I've never tested the file if it works.

it scans clean with Avast.

There are currently NO PS3 emulators. Nor are there Xbox 360, And I don't think there is even a fully functional Xbox original emulator.

 

 

"Modern" emulators that are available include Gamecube, PS2, and WII.

Dolhpin, which does Gamecube and Wii games, is absolutely amazing because it is more than your standard emulator. Able to render at resolutions 4 times that of native resolution then all the additional AA enhancements make for an unbelievable experience.

I recently played through Skyward Sword using Dolphin on the highest settings and it is a night and day difference between the original Wii. In fact there was one small boss fight I couldn't get past due to a crash so I transferred the save file to my wii and played it there to get past, the game looked like shit on original wii hardware after experiencing 2560x2112 rendered resolution with high AA.

They are bunk.

 

What you see in the Youtube video is faked. it's a video playing, not an actual PS3 game.

I dont know so dont bite my head off. But you own a copy and the PS3 copy probably costs more so i would guess you would be okay getting a ps2 emulator. there are no differences in the games other than graphics.

I did try it on a PS2 emulator but unfortunately it didn't work. :( I honestly died a little when it refused to work.

No i meant for like mods not to bite my head off if it is "Illegal" to do what i suggested, not you :D you were fine.  maybe the emulator was bad or something idk.
