DAN Cases - A4-SFX the smallest ITX gaming case in the world

dondan

dondan, I'd just like to say im really looking forward to this case becoming available in the UK. I'm wondering if your starting to pick up the wrong kind of attention though. While the interior layout is different and its larger (SG13 size) I genuinely thought this was your case for a while when i saw it on Overclockers UK. Its only £35 too.

Still quite a bit bigger than yours. The one thing i beg of you is PLEASE get a proper UK distributor. I hate buying from outside the UK due to import tax and shipping times as well as problems with tracking parcels.

I know. It's awesome. But right now I simply can't justify purchasing one without some impartial reviews. Also the cost is astronomical in the UK. Apparently the case is built in Taiwan, then imported to Germany for QC (which adds shipping and Import taxes) then is shipped to the customer. Also the PCI ribbon is said to be expensive.

I believe the Kickstarter did say that if it was fully funded, then the case would go into full production at a later date. Currently the shipping dates aren't until the end of the year anyway. I can wait a bit longer.

I love tiny cases. I've got a Silverstone FTZ01 myself and absolutely love it. I'm amazed at what DAN have achieved here; just a shame there's no space for an optical drive. I still wouldn't be without one to this day as I have tons of CD's, DVD's, Blu-Rays and Legacy Games that I use regularly.

Congrats on the cool ITX case. Shame I just finished my mITX build in the Fractal Design Nano S. But this would be a really cool future home console or something.

Not worth that kind of price tag. Saying that I wouldn't mind a case that small.

Thats really not a good idea. Each side only gets its airflow through that side panel.

Love the idea. Would definitely buy one if it wasn't ridiculously expensive AND with an insane delivery time of over half a year (dec 2016).

If this was sold through the same channels as all other cases (retail & webshops), I've no doubt it'd be the case of the year. The ITX king.

Completely agree. I do believe the intention is to go to a full scale production if the Kickstarter is successful. If that's the case, in 12 months time, we could see this case being mass produced and sold on Amazon etc.

When that happens, I'll look into buying one. Tbh, I'm surprised a big case manufacturer hasn't snapped this guy and his designs up.

Yeah upside down on the other side of the mobo plate. The GPU is installed where the motherboard is usually attached to the case.

I'd assume this will go the ncase route in terms of production in that the cost will remain high but be lowered and be sold in smaller runs w/ updates. It would be cool if this was produced on a large scale tho.
