At that price range i would get a lga 1150 i5, the basics(standard mobo, ram, ssd, hdd), good psu, and the best gpu you can fit.

thats my exact pc but i would try for a 6700k or 6600k if possible because on the fx 8320 if you play games that use a single core mostly(world of tanks) you will have a bottleneck

desktop amd fx 8320 10gb ram ocd to 1866, 1tb segate hdd 500gb  toshiba 250 gb segate 60gb ?? 240gb trion sdd xfx amd radeon 6570 750 wat dual 12v rail ultra psu asus M5A97 R2.0

the fx cpu is good but for better performance any intel cpu 4th gen i5 or i7 would be best at least in my eyes

You're forgetting that CAD isn't worth nearly as much as USD and also Canadian prices are pretty bad when compared to US.

Oops I overlooked the CAD at the end, roughly around 1k i think but still 1K in US currency is not enough for an X99 build, maybe a Skylake build but on my books that would be last resort, its not a bad platform but I would highly recommend a X99 build.
