The APU build is 100 dollars cheaper and you can crossfire a gpu later but the FM2 socket isn't as upgradable as the 1155 socket. The Pentium build has a dedicated and better GPU but in order to upgrade the card you may need to buy a new CPU as well to stop bottleneck. The 7770 comes with 2 free games also.

If you wanna find anymore differences or improve on my build feel free too, if you wanna change the parts use pricespy.co.nz and use the general rule that sites with images are reliable. AlphaCity has lost their image in that site but is still good if you see them.

You could get a copy of W8 for much less than that if you can buy from eBay. Around $70ish (NZ) probably. I've picked up a couple of copies on eBay for $60 on the Australian site.

I don't really trust eBay too much, would rather get everything brand new.

I agree also. I find the fact you get 2 free games pretty much worth the extra 100 you spend and you're getting a more future proof pc but the APU is good for light gaming for someone who doesn't want hd high graphics and more playability.

it would definitely be a brand new item because you can only use the discs once anyway

You can use the disks as many times as you want. You pay for the activation key, not the disc.

Exactly.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.

Yeah sorry again, you pay for the keys. But if you buy such an item from eBay, the key won't have been used. There's no point selling it if the keys have already been used. That would totally defeat the point.
