video card needed for casual gaming?

hey guys! should i buy a video card for casual gaming? or is the graphics on th cpu/apu is more than enough for casual gaming? 

who does casual gaming here?(i play high end games also! ,but this is a build for casual gaming)

if you do,what do you do? buy a video card,or the graphics on the cpu/apu?

 

if you should buy a video card for casual gaming,would it be in the range of 100$?

My ideal of casual gaming would be easily handled by a 7770.

An APU should be fine for casual gaming but the upside is always having the ability to xFire with a 7750

Yeah if you dont need all the full 7700 series just get a 7750 and save a few bucks

Why don't you tell us your definition of casual gaming? 

i will not be playing many high end games like battlefield,crysis etc. this would be only for games like mario,rise of nations,etc etc. the games which work fine without graphics card i guess

For me i would go for a GTX 760. I would go for as much VRAM as possible just to make the card last longer. I know most people say its pointless to have tons of VRAM because it just costs more but the card will be able to handle games in the future even once a few generations of new cards have come out. The more VRAM you have the bigger textures can be before they slow down your game. but the GTX 760 should be fast enough.

Are you doing a new build? A system with a dedicated gpu doesn't have to be much more expensive than one with an apu.

I think an APU like the 6800K would suite you just fine. Make sure you use high frequency ram with it to get the best performance, logan from Tek Syndicate did a video on it:

newegg/my local computer world( which is big enough for 3 white houses to fit in) or clibz. you guys probably know only newegg in this because the rest of them are local & are there in my colony!just 2 minute walk from my house

We're generally fine with dealing with whatever site you shop from. Google translate does most of the work.

Well, watch the video I linked, and see if that kind of performance is something you'd be happy with. The 6800k also overclocks like a beast. I think it recently broke the 8GHz barrier.
