Should i look into getting the shine 3?

Well i'm building my pc in october and from what i have heard the shine 3 comes out on the 6th of september so it will be out by the time i build my pc, and i'm looking at keyboards and from what i have seen the k70 and the ducky keyboards are what i'm going for, but in your opinion what keyboard would you go for? i know alot of people are going to come in here and flat out yell "erma gerd ducky is da best" just please give me some reasons to chose one over the other.

Shine 3 is available now.  I own both Shine 2 and K70.  The K70 is good but I prefer the Duck.  Have a Shine 3 coming.  Both are great but Ducky gets you more options.  I'd recommend the Corsair if you are deadset on Blue lighting and MX Reds.  Their MX Browns and Blues have been pushed back.

My Stuff:  Corsair Obisidan 550D - Phobya Nano-2G 120mm x 5 - Corsair H100i - MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming - Intel 3570K - G.Skill 8GBx2 1866 - EVGA ACX GTX 780 3GB SuperClocked(Step Up to 780 Ti) - Samsung 840 500GB SSD - WD Black 1TB x 2 - LG Blu-ray - ASUS VG248QE + ASUS PB278Q - Corsair M65 with MM400 Pad - Ducky Shine II MX Brown with Gray/White Keycaps - Corsair K70 MX Red - CoolerMaster Quickfire TK MX Brown - Ducky Pro2 MX Blue with Gray PBT Keycaps - Ducky Pro2 MX Clears with Gray/Blue PBT Keycaps - Ducky Pro2 MX Browns with Light Gray and White PBT Keycaps

How about G710+ it is awesome keyboard!

It's a nice keyboard no doubt but it's a little much in the  sense of flashy ness with it's bright orange and macros, i like the ducky and k70 because they are somewhat form factor.

All the colors show well on the Duckys.  I'm not keen on the Orange, known as yellow elsewhere.  The most gorgeous color they have is Purple, called Pink elsewhere.  It's more of a Magenta but it's very pretty and easy on the eyes.  My favorite is Blue, can't go wrong it.  You also have Green, White and Red to choose from.  Ducky is also putting out some new sets of Shine keycaps which will allow you to customize it nicely.  Get them now while you have options available.  MX Blue with Blue backlighting, MX Blue with Purple backlighting and MX Purple with Red backlighting are sold out on this shipment already.

Also does the shine 3 come with a wrist rest or can you get one?

I have the full size Ducky Leather wrist rest, it's descent and made to be just the right height for Ducky boards.  They have a new acrylic see-through coming but not sure when.

Sadly i'm going to have to wait until october but i'm expecting them to be available then. (i hope) oh and 40 bucks for a wrist rest that's kind of much in my opinion, i think i will just see how i do without one.

They'll have another shipment in around then or by then.  Just keep an eye out, they usually post on that a link about a month in advance so you won't miss out.

Also do you think the wrist  rest is worth the somewhat high price? 40 dollars is nothing to sneeze at when talking about a wrist wrest.

It's a pretty firm wrist rest, solid but doesn't have the give the soft gel ones do, I like it.  Should be priced closer to $30.00 but I don't feel ripped off having paid $40 for it.

" K70 over the Ducky S3 " Problem with K70s is that they currently on have Red Switches in them and if you want something that isn't a blue or red backlight you're screwed. What about Vortex KB's if you like a really small footprint KBT Poker or Pure look great. Honestly there are so many good companies now-a-days you can't really go wrong UNLESS RAZER #badjokes.  What switch type are you looking to get and Backlight color?
