The 4670k would perform better. If you want the 9370 just get a fx 8350 board and overclock it.

 

for a 4670k I would recommend a gigabyte Z87 D3HP

 

for a fx 8350 I would get a asus 990fx evo

 

Also have you bought the nh-d14? Their are better performing air coolers in that same price range.

They are both very different price points, why not compare to 4770k? Plus if you're spending 300+$ on a CPU why do you want to cheapout on the motherboard?

The U14S takes the win on air coolers and the H80I performs slightly better than a NH-D14.
