How to Uninstall Star Citizen for a Fresh Install

Vivilacqua1

Hey all, I want to uninstall SC because it seems to be taking up about 200 gigs, and that's a problem. So a clean install will go a long way. But first, How do I uninstall? The only thing that I could find in my programs is the launcher and that's probably not it.

Thanks for the help!

I use CCleaner for everything I uninstall to get rid of all the other stuff that gets left behind using the standard uninstaller. I'd try that.

It doesn't appear in the programs list though.

There should be an uninstaller in the main folder

Bar that, just drag the whole folder to the trash

One issue might be that you may have two folders. Since the complete change in launcher, they changed the default destination from 'Star Citizen' to 'Cloud Imperium Games.'

Also, if yours is really old, you might find an old copy in Documents.

Then don't forget that after EVERY ptu, you should delete the old ptu folder.

Still new, but learning
