your ram is a bit slow..shouldn't actually matter..but probably should be pc 1600

i only have wifi at my house..

That power supply is way too overkill. I would go with a 500 or 550 watt one. Also I would get 1600mhz RAM. Maybe invest in an SSD?

I'm guessing he's using the sp120s for the front since there are hard drive cages.

gives you internet through the electrical lines in your house

so you don't get the lag you get with wireless

Change the psu its not great get the evga g2 or GS or the b2 those are the three best evga psu's ( best to worst in that order)

yep

 

you plug the router into 1 adapter thats plugged into a wall socket close to the router

then plug the other adapter into a wall socket close to your new pc

then plug your pc into the adapter

If you have the money, invest in a 120gb boot ssd, you'll notice the difference immediately. And I would strongly push towards you investing in a power line adapter if you're going to be gaming. Better speeds, more reliable compared to wireless, and very easy to setup.

Yes it is, I use one myself after having so many problems with wireless cards. You run an Ethernet cable from your router to the adapter, then plug the adapter into the wall. You then plug the other adapter into where your PC is, connect an Ethernet cable to that and then run that to your PC. The connection is setup within seconds after that.

1. get the g2 or gs psu from evga instead

2. get an ssd; ssd plus or transcend 370 or bx100 or 850 evo

3. 390 would perform better

4. get 1600 ram

5. get the af series fans instead for airflow. you don't really need extra fans for this setup., waste of money imo
