Amazon PNY sale

 

Overall not a great deal, but look at the difference in price between 64GB and 128GB, only 10 cents, seemingly, actual price for 64GB is 19.99

At that store yes, but if you're open to the other stores then the difference is really 10 dollars not cents :)

my sister has that exact 128GB flash drive. works well. Speeds are ok, better than any USB 2 drive at least. Been reliable, shes had it for well over a year.

my 64gb one only works as 200mb no matter how many times I tried to format it

If a drive has a greater chance of failure, to me, it's worthless. Nothing's worse than lost data.

Try using Chrome's Chromebook Recovery Utility. I know that sounds weird, but if the drive has some weird unknown or corrupted file system on it, it usually fixes it for me.

I've had 2 PNY products. A 32GB SD Card that died in a year. And a 32GB Flash Drive that is extremely slow.

The products weren't terrible when I first got them, but my Sandisk stuff has lasted a lot longer.

I've had 2 PNY products. A 32GB SD Card that died in a year. And a 32GB Flash Drive that is extremely slow.

The products weren't terrible when I first got them, but my Sandisk stuff has lasted a lot longer.

Sandisk stuff only lasts longer if you don't get a 32GB class 10 micro SD card-apparently the issues with cards suddenly dying was solved in 2013. 2 years later....and their 32GB class 10 micro SD cards still die after only a few months use-and mine was being used in my table, which is treated as an e-reader (so mostly reading from the card, minimal writes).

All of my flash drives are PNY ones since they're like $8-$15 at my Walmart. :( The one on the far once has needed a SD formatter to fix it once now, and the one on the far right is stupid fast but has my only Windows 7 iso as one of the times I reinstalled windows I formatted my SSD with my 7 iso... oops... Then the 32GB one just has a bunch of drivers for different computers.

That's probably because it's been partitioned and you keep formatting the 200mb partition.

Formatting a partition doesn't make it bigger, you have to clean the partition table and initialize a new partition that takes up all available space.
