new card or crossfire old one??

hey guys, i currently have a hd6970 card and am planning to run triple monitor eyefinity setup. so, i have a 600w psu. my question is, should i buy a used 6970 + new 800w psu (would cost about $350) or should i get a 7970 (for $450)?? with the extra $100, i might buy a ssd or something... so what do you guys say??  plus, ive got a x4 955 cpu oced to 3.8ghz

I would whait and buy 9970, but buy 7970 if you want.

my personal opinion i would go with an other 6970 but i kinda think a newer video card like the 7970 or something like that is better
