Posted August 3, 2013 780s are expensive, but if you can afford it, sure. Go for it. "It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open your brain falls out." - Carl Sagan. Posted August 3, 2013 If you have the money the bigger memory bus and extra gb of ram will go a long way. The GK110 chip over the GK104 is a decent upgrade. Posted August 3, 2013 Wait for 9XXX series from AMD because apparently it will be faster than a 780 and hopefully be cheaper. The GK110 chip over the GK104 is a decent upgrade. well i should elaborate more i guese. i use the evga gtx 670 4gb cards atm. and when the 780 was released i put myself in line in the evga step-up since i had just bought them. and i am trying to decide should i drop the extra 200 percard and having to buy new waterblocks for each card. 780s are expensive, but if you can afford it, sure. Go for it. not to worried about the money. also if i do decide to upgrade i have to drain my loop and put the stock heatsinks back on.
