I have my heart set on the rog boards for my build. So far I have everything else except for the motherboard. I'm waiting for Maximus vi formula to be released and now I'm getting impatient. Amazon currently has the Extreme board for 330$. Should I get the extreme? It's only about 30$ more expensive than the formula will cost?

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

extreme is focused on an extreme oc as the name states however, unless your running one hell of a watercooling loop or ln2 cooling lol the formula is pretty awesome and most times the formula has much better on board audio so if you dont use a soundcard thats a bonus, myself i love to oc and push things hard but ive never bought the extreme boards i usually go with the formula
