Dear friends,

 

i have posted earlier a topic in which i told you i am building a gaming pc with a budget of 1k usd, and as @LT Smith (im so thankful :) ) suggested me to go for this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1mmeP. , i got encouraged, but i was wondering if anyone has experience in ASROCK Z87 motherboard should i go for EXTREME 3 or EXTREME 6 ?

-more aesthetically pleasing and better performing heatsink
-slightly downgraded case,though it's still a great case,and still has a window
-same speed and latency memory,still aesthetically pleasing
-switched power supply to lower wattage seasonic model because of quieter fans and higher efficiency

As for your question, you woudn't reap any benefits from the Extreme 6 over the 3.
