Why I say this is that I have 660 and I want to get the 9970 when it comes out but also planning on getting the shield. My question is would the drivers get messed up? Also sorry for posting many questions lately right now I'm in a foreign country Albania to be exact and have 0.04 mbit internet speed so LTT is my only option thanks guys.

You can, but it's not great, you could just sell your 660 to pay for your 9970.

It is possible to have the 660 work as a dedicate physx card in Hybrid PhysX, but it requires the use of old drivers & it is not very reliable, so I would not recommend it.

It's not really for physx but for streaming to the shield

yes you can do that but is not magical performances  so don't do it and i know what do you feel by really slow internet
