Is the Logitech G27 worth it?

I was wondering, is the Logitech G27 gaming wheel worth it? If so, can you give some feedback on how it performs? If not, can you give me some equivalents that have similar features, like with a 6-speed shifter, and 11 inch wheel?

ive had mine for just over a year now and love it, the large rotation angles are fantastic the forcefeedback feels very smooth compared to some wheels ive used, its been fairly quiet for being a full force feedback wheel. The pedals feel fantastic as well the pressure for each is tuned differently as well as they are all solid metal. the wheel feels pretty nice in the hands as well being fully leather wrapped and the wheel and shifter mount separately which to me is a really big bonus

I've been on the trail of one for a while now. The problem is that I don't have the money to go and dish out $300 since I'm only in high school and dont really have a job. For the meantime I found a Driving Force Pro for 5 bucks and it has been good enough for me for a few months now. In your case, do you have the money to spend on it, and do you already have a wheel? If yes, no then go for it. If yes, yes then buy it and sell the old one. If No, yes, then I would wait a while. If no, no then I would browse craigslist and try to find one cheap like I am. I almost had one for $120 but it was too far away for me to go and get. In short, my answer is buy one if you're really into racing games.

It is totally worth the money from what I've heard. I have a Logitech Driving Force GT which is a tier under the G27.

Save and get a Fanatec, the pedals are way better on the Fanatec if you get the CSR Elite or Clubsport.

however the logitech is not bad, but not as good as a Fanatec. i used to have a G25 for years and it lasted ok. now use Fanatec porsche wheel and CSR Elite pedal set and CSR shifter.

for a happy medium Fanatec wheel i would recomment the CSR Elite wheel and CSR Elite pedal set and shifter. I like the Porsche wheel but its not as good build quality as the CSR Elite or Clubsport.

you usually get what you pay for with wheels, i have been using wheels since the 1990's if i could afford a Clubsport i would have one but i can't .
