Go to solution Solved by PineappleHolidays,

I am building a new system and is wondering should I go with 2-way GTX 970's or a single 980?

use ?

In terms of price the 970's are more comparable to a 980ti.

GTX 970 < R9 390 < 980 < fury < 980ti

980ti should be cheaper than 2 970s, where are you from?

Depends on the stock clock speed. 390s are overclocked aggressively out of the box, but a 970 overclocked can beat a 390X and match a 980 so it depends.

The 970 SLI still offers much better value for money over the 980. However, so does the 980 Ti, and that is preferable.

970 will offer a pretty awesome performance advantage over the 980 but again drawbacks such as potential SLI issues, and power+heat comes up too. 980 will offer less performance but with all the peace of mind of a single card....and the extra fast 512mb vram.

How about the fury (non x) guys?

Hey bro i like yo *vomits on you*
