Yes it will, it just wont use the g sync features on your mac, but it will use them on your 980's gaming machine.

I don't know if there's a topic with this questions, if it is I am sorry :unsure:....

 

I am an software developer, and for work I do have to use apple hardware, unfortunately my macbook doesn't have an nvidia graphics card,  also I have a gaming PC with 2 980s in sli(I know that the variable refresh rate won't work with my macbook).

 

My question is, if I buy a panel with gsync like the rog swift will it output video from my macbook? thats very impotant for me, because i would like to have a single monitor both for gamming and work, I don't care keep swapping the cabbles...

yes the monitor will work with any computer, its just that gsync will only work when connected to a compatible nvidia GPU
