Your grandparents rig

Jaybird

What are your grandparents running in their rig?

Disclaimer: I only glanced at the specs before i had to leave. My grandfather has:

Cooler master case

MSI mobo

Intel i7 codename Bloomfield

GT220

GT9000?

AIO liquid cooler 140mm rad

550w psu from cooler master

500gb HDD

It idles at 50 degrees and 65% of the memory is consistently used. The amount of icons on the desktop has me twitching.

I will be upgrading the graphics to something a little more modern.

Oh God... Uh... some ancient Compaq system. I have no clue what's in it, and frankly I'm surprised the thing still runs. Seriously, my grandparents are so archaic they were running AOL until about two years ago. My dad would often joke that they were the last people in the world to still have Dial-Up connections.

A Dell P4 I think that began running so slow that I told them I'd build one for them and so it happened :D now they have a beast (in most grandparents terms) with an i3, gt640 asrock mobo etc. I wonder if it's gonna last more than 7-8 years like their p4 did (I think), that thing won't die :o
