Is there anyway for me to order it in the US?

Not sure, check your component stores, not many will sell it though as it is £1000 for a monitor on some websites here in the UK, it seems only UK and Australia at the moment.

I would also check that is the correct monitor, I am speaking to customer service now, they do not know if it is the Freesync version or Gsync version.

My last order took 5 weeks to recieve it and they then couldn't give me a date for when they would get the motherboard in stock so I had to go else where and am still yet to recieve my refund for the motherboard. And Very.co.uk has confirmed that their stock will be Gsync verison only sent straight from acer themselves :)

You may end up a bit disappointed!

Acer UK (Yes their UK branch) have recently (last couple weeks) said that they are looking to now launch the x34 in October :/ Instead of the date some UK sites had it set to pre order on which was 28th of August.

They haven't made an official comment on the release date set by Scan/Very yet, and they have yet to change their pre order dates on the site, so you could still be in luck (And I hope you are) but just be prepared to wait till Oct just in case :/

But again hope you do get it at the end of this month!

Also, you cannot take it back, so if it has dead pixels or bad backlight bleed, you will have to keep it, that is what put me off from buying it from Very

Very are actually very good when it comes to faulty goods no pun intended with the very good part lol, I bought the Asus MG279Q from them and it had several dead pixels and they refunded me in full.

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest. The recent Acer XB270HU was clearly designed and built by a team of blind retarded apes that Acer have locked away in an underground cavern deep beneath the Siberian Tundra, so if the X34 is copying the same business model then it's entirely logical that no one at Acer will know anything about it until people start sending them back with all kinds of faults.

Interesting I just contacted very and they told me mine will be delivered on the 24th of August and the reason it has been removed from their site is they only have a limited number that they can sell

What did you find in the review that leads you to say it isn't that great? The TFT Central review was rather positive I thought, and they are more thorough and in-depth than anyone else.

The only negative comments in the reviews are the price and dropping frames with NVidia cards (for the Freesync version). What did you read?

Just checked with acer and apparently it is still due to be released in August in the UK

I keep asking them as well but I get this response

We do not know anything about this monitor at the moment.

To be honest I wouldn't place any bets on what anyone of these companies tell us, because it seems people within the company really don't have a clue either, this is what I found out after asking around:

I contacted Scan and asked them if it was still on track for a late August release, and I explained what Acer UK had said about the release date being pushed back to October.

The next day I got a reply saying,

"I've requested that our purchasing team double check the date with Acer in light of your new information. As soon as I have an update I'll pass this along to yourself."

Then later that date they said,

"Acer now say shipping the 1st of October, into distribution, so I have updated the ETA to the following Friday ( 9th of October ) to be safe.

We'd expect them around 9th / 10th Oct 2015 now."

I haven't seen any change on the website though for pre order dates, so this isn't confirmed either, it's just what I was told when emailing.

Here is a screenshot of the email:

Get a Acer XB270HU, you won't regret it  :P

Open your eyes and break your chains. Console peasantry is just a state of mind.
