How hot can RAM get before it becomes too hot?

It was 34C today, in my room it is probably 30C. I took the side panel off to make sure that the ambient temperature inside is the same as outside. Anyway its idling and the CPU is hitting 50C, but it usually stays around 40C, that isn't really a big deal considering the ambient temperature. 

I touched the RAM to feel the temperature and I couldn't hold my hand on it for more than a second. I took a heat gun to measure the temps and it was at 62C. But it was working fine, The temperature doesn't change as the RAM fills up. I don't know if its the hot weather or it may be how its supposed to run so I am asking you. 



 

Specs: AMD FX 6300 @ 4ghz, Asus R9 270 OC, 8gb Corsair xms3, Cooler Master GX 550w PSU, WD 500 blue, Gigabyte  GA-970A-DS3

Not all DIMMs have heatsinks.

Most ram gets unstable before it gets damaged...

I know but most do. Most powerful ram has them because they produce the most heat.

pretty sure they wont overheat, it will be fine.

While it is true that they will disappate heat, they will most likely work perfectly well without the heatsinks.

Some dmm heatsink manufacuters dont spply them very well and the heat spreader actually causes it to run HOTTER. If its a concern, just put a fan on them and it should keep them cooled down.
