Corsair K70/K95 RGB Cherry MX Blue Massdrop Limited production run?

Hi everyone,

As the title announces, I started a vote on Massdrop between the K70 and the K95 RGB MX Blue keyboards that were never really made, Corsair said this was due to low yields on the RGB MX Blue switches and that Browns and Reds by far outsold Blues anyway, but via Massdrop I'd to see if we can convince Corsair to make a few of them for those that do really want the blue switches, without them having to run off more than is necessary, a win for Corsair and a win for us.

If you did want one of these keyboards I'd ask you to vote and help advance it, or even if you don't, either way it'll help.

Thanks for your time.

Or you could wait till the shine 5 comes out and get superior build quality and still have rgb.

I just had a look at some of the shine 3 and 4 models, and I personally still prefer the design of the K70, whether or not this ever gets off the ground, I still want to try.

I can't believe I forgot that, maybe doing this at 3:30am isn't helping.

Thanks for the reminder :)

We had a limited run for those RGB MX Blues on our websotre (US only), I think about a month ago. We were pretty surprised that they sold out pretty quick the moment the promotion was announced.

Not sure if they will come back in the future, but you never know, if the demand is convincing, our HID team may have to reconsider :)

Even though Corsair's K70/K95 has a brushed aluminum chassis, Ducky's mechanical keyboards still have amazing build quality. The plastic body doesn't signify that it's cheaper than the K70/K95 because the PCB and the plate-mounted switches give the Ducky a very solid build that's hard to describe until you see it and hold it in person.

I would really want this and I swear Corsair should make this like a special order product, or like pre-order or something. Something special for us MX Blue fans, right?

I honestly doubt it that we'll make more KB with MX Blues on our current SKUs. That said, I am optimistic that we will utilize the Blue switches again for our future keyboards.

Thanks you for replying, I'm still hopeful for a K70 RGB MX Blue, I love the look of the keyboard and the sound of the MX Blues, and if there is another run I'd love to I will get one (I'd need shipping to Australia though).
