What do you do with your Steam Trading Cards?

So I seem to be the only one of my friends who keeps their trading cards to make badges. They all sell theirs to save up for new games, which is a good idea if you don't want them.

Does anyone else make badges?

Yea, once I had made the first summer sale badge I sold the rest I got to get other cards for my favorite games. But it is all to make badges.

My friend challenged me to get higher steam lvl than him, lvl 20 and he gave up at 17

I don't know, or care, about trading cards. I'll probably just make badges when I've got them all :P

Im only making now Badges that have a background that is worth like 5Euros while i sell rest or just keep em so i can trade em. Also i got a foil summer card so im gonna keep that and sell it for like 20 euros down the line :D .

When I first started getting them, I would sell my doubles. I ended up getting enough for a $10 steam game, haha.

 

But recently, I had $5 in my Steam wallet and I spent it on cards I didn't have to complete badges some badges~ 

 

I'll probably just keep them from now on, I didn't know you could complete another set to upgrade your badge. :D

I sold my Tomb Raider cards to get Summer Sale cards to craft the Summer Sale Badge. :P

 

Depending on how easy the booster packs are to come by I might play the game and try to craft a bunch of badges.

Keeping them, i like collecting stuff that is useless, not for any reason i just want to have it ; p i probably wont sell them i like them there and if i add games to my inventory they seem to push down the cards so not worried too much about inventory space.

I have no choice but to keep it, because Steam Guard restricts from trading / selling them away!

My brother sells his. He made enough money to buy games during the sales and continue a cycle.

I have mine up for auction at prices twice the amount that people paid when the cards first came out.  If they sell fine and if not fine.

i give them to my friends mostly, i don't care about badges or lvls in steam, i bought the games not the cards, besides selling them for 10 cents each.... meh

First, I sold duplicates and tried to make badges, but then I saw that you can get backgrounds for even cheaper than the actual cards themselves.

 

So now I'm selling all my cards except the Summer Getaway ones.

I've adopted the mixture of the two.

 

I sell all the cards I'm not fussed about, Like Magicka,Terraria etc, not necessarily bad games, just not my favourite games.

I use the cash from it to complete the badges I do like, Hotline, UT2k4, Garry's Mod, FTL and such.

 

Working pretty well, got a few level one badges, and a pretty nice Hotline Background.

I'm addicted to completing these sets etc. Just like my physical cards but unfortunately sold off my sets of dragon ball z, yu gi oh and pokemon a while ago to fund my first year of university, made over 5,000 on my cards alone, I wish you could cash out steam wallet >.>
