Well the site is legit, but who knows, maybe it's just a prank?

I think I've seen you around and tried to ask you this before, but.. Why do you like Seagate so much? What's the best 2.5" mechanical drive they make in terms of speed/gaming? I need a 2.5" HDD for my new ITX build to go with my boot SSD. Would love to hear some insights. (:

Domain lookups aren't consistent, and Valve.Software was created much later than the original website. I'd say absolutely fake

I think it's a troll. Someone probably got the code to Valve's website and did this.

They're good because they're reliable, they have a great warranty, and customer service is pretty good. That being said, there are 2.5" SSHDs or solid state hybrid drives. They utilize normal hard drives with huge caches to load things faster.

Sounds like a fair argument, but do you have any sources to prove these claims? :P

If I were to buy a 1TB minimum SSHD in a 2.5" form factor from Seagate, what drive would you recommend? This would be to store all my games on. (:
