Products that that you really want, but don't exist

PhilPC

There's got to be a really niche device or combination of devices that you want, let's hear them.

I really want a Mechanical Keyboard with a USB3 hub, 5/8" microphone screw, and a really nice sound card built into it. The soundcard should have a swap-able op-amp, output through 1/4" & RCA, and take XLR input with a Phantom Power amp.

Having a keyboard with all those things built into it instead of using pass-throughs would save me so much desk clutter, and would be perfect for both laptop and desktop users.

Check out my Trading Card Inventory, I probably have that one card you need

A case that I can decide on, I am so fucking off and on when it comes to cases I like. A mini Cosmos 2 would be awesome, not the SE because I want the sliding front cover.

A power supply of my own. I really want one, but there is no such thing.

A few things:

A mechanical keyboard where you could remove the WASD keys and replace that zone with an analogue stick, or even analogue WASD keys.

A slim 140mm fan with similar cooling and noise performance as a noctua NF-A14.

PCI-E cards that enable native emulation of consoles, even if that means each console needs a separate card.

2.5" 4TB drives that are affordable for consumers.

A robot that does everything for me....

Other than that, a keyboard that could change key switches on the fly!

Also cheaper and super high capacity SSDs.

A laptop with 2 screen!, one that folds out to the right. But why stop there, why not have another fold out to the left! The laptop may be a bit thick, not only from the extra screens but also the bigger graphics card that will be needed.

Ok here we go, I do have a few.

RGB (like the NZXT Hue) lighting system on a Filco/DAS/Ducky/Cooler Master/or Corsair Chery MX Blue Keyboard

24 inch 16:10 4K display with HDMI 2.0/DP. Even more unrealistic would be 120Hz 3D, and even more unrelastic would be 16K, but we aren't close to the input technology for that.

Well designed (aesthetically) Noctua fans.

A cheaper alternative to a Schiit Valhalla that is of same quality.

What about a slimline steel case that sits under your monitor with USB3, card readers, DAC with headphone amp and Mic.

Mechanical keyboard that's black, has brown or blue switches, dedicated media buttons, and is USB 3.0.

Closest thing I can find is the G710+ but I really don't like how it looks. :l It's also quite expensive.

A mech keyboard with RGB backlight would be awesome as well.

0.o that would be interesting with the media keys, I would love to see better media keys such as scroll wheels as a norm on all keyboards (like on the corsair keyboards). Although having a mic on a keyboard would make the mic not in an optimal location unless its a $50>$100 mic  :P (e.g. snowball)

I want an atx motherboard and mid-atx case that natively supports 200 usb ports.

Why?

Just 'cause.

see, now that's a good idea, and they can release different models with things like, Logitech Unifying Receiver, and a BR burner, gives the user a lot more choice with their keyboard, which is quite a personal thing. I'm going to talk to some friends and see how hard it would be to design and manufacture.

an amd 16 core 14nm cpu running at 4ghz (parallelism for the win) that i can afford
a mix of the crosshair 5 formula-z and gigabyte ud7-
the quality of the asus board
4 pcie 16x lanes (pcie 3.0)
8 quad channel dim slots (think 2011)
a 7970+75% (titan killer) but made dual GPU...so a 7990+75% (watercooling=no problem)
the board able to run 4 of these monsters in octafire
a raid card that I dont have to worry about dieing
ssd's that i dont have to worry about not being able to write to at some point (the 1 thing putting me off ssds)

cheap 10gb ethernet+cards
a case that more effectively uses the available space (if its a big space full of air, thats a waste)
an xigmatek elysium that can take a 560 rad in the top with a seperate basement to take another 560 rad in there.

and so on
