Is this PSU good or is there better?

I don't think the MIR is on anymore so it's back to $80, but still a great PSU. Gives you room for SLI in the future as well since you'll have an SLI compatible motherboard. So when one 970 becomes not enough for you, you can add a second one and still have power to spare.

The EVGA B2 is a far better choice than the CX. Don't get the CX.

@Dzzope using what you said as a guide I went on PCpartpicker again and actually used it for the entire build from sellers I will actually use and managed to get a gtx 970 and save $10 dollars. Thank you so much for your time and help.
