Took off the Memory fans, so what you think? Better?

brighttail

After a little debate I decided to take off the Corsair Dominator Platinum Airflow fans. I'm not really overclocking my memory that hard so they aren't doing anything major other than looking pretty with different colours.

First pix is with the flash off. You can better see the Dominator Platinum memory.  I have the light bars and I managed to get some red acrylic bars instead of the blue/white they come with.  They don't POP red light it is more a subtle glow.

The second picture is with the flash on and it shows the real colour of the fluid, more of a royal blue which I'm liking.  Next week I think I'll try blood red.

FYI for those that asked the little item below the second video card is a USB hub controller.  It helps with my fan controllers and other goodies to provide perfect voltage to all USB devices.

I've got an ROG SLI Bridge in the mail coming too! No more ribbon! Tho i hope it fits next to that fitting.

Looks nice... would have gone with red or black coolant tho. I think 3 colors are 1 too many ;)

Not really, just the scheme is bad. Black, grey, white looks great. Red, Orange, Black too. Blue, Teal, White.

Red blue just doesn't go well.

Drop the Pastel coolant for something more translucent and better looking.

All the ones you described are basically shades of the same color... (red+orange, blue+teal - would count those as one)

Blue orange, blue yellow matches. Blue red not so much.

FYI if you want to take attractive photos of your build, I would advise finding a work light or something somewhere and setting that up, and then correcting your white balance. Flash can tend to make things look flat or uninteresting, because everything being front-lit doesn't give the shadows the depth that they have when you have proper lighting. Also, on PCs flash is especially bad because of the fact that a lot of your components are semi-reflective, so you get a lot of glare.

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

I'll be trying the Blood Red tomorrow. It will be a pastel mix as the blood red clear looked too black through the smoked tinted window.

Dust though

I have dust filters on all the intakes, the demcifilters for this phanteks case.  They do a great job, but yes, dust still gets in but it is a lot less than it could be.  With the back fan as an intake I'm keeping the case at positive pressure.
