I don't think the problem is with kepler only. I had like 4 bluescreens in the last 24 hours with this new 352.86 driver. I'm reverting back to the 350.12 GTAV driver. 

I have a titan x by the way.

I am thinking of reversing my driver too, i saw a FPS performance on one game drop from a usual 140+ to 80-. Not happy.

Just roll it back and wait until they release one that works.

 

I guess I could make a driver joke here and tell that you can be happy how your cards aren't burning to death in the game menu, but I don't want to throw fuel into the fire.

I don't think performance is that bad. I'm using the older 350.12 drivers, but with my overclocked GTX 780 with everything set to Ultra w/HBAO+ - NO Hariworks @ 1080p - I'm 40-50+FPS while recording with ShadowPlay. A big difference from the 29 FPS shown here.Of course, I'm not replicating their test exactly.

Whenever there's a bad Nvidia driver, it's remembered years later as having been a bad AMD driver. One does not simply remember a bad Nvidia driver.

Nvidia forums is overwhelmed with ppl that have kepler gpu's and are pissed off

 

titan black/z and gtx 780ti sli is getting beaten by a gtx 980

 

and gtx 780 beaten by a low end gtx 960,

my gtx 770 beats the gtx 960 in all games except the ones that have gameworks and even with those features off kepler gpu's are getting pwnd by maxwell.

 

very sad moment for the ppl that have invested more then 600 dollars last year to be outperformed by a gpu that cost only 300 dollars

 

espesially when those kepler gpu's are as powerfull as the newly maxwell gpu's

 

Nvidia, the way it meant tp be played for Maximum a YEAR

*Sorry for necro* I've got a 780 Ti and I was wondering has anyone tried out the latest drivers with the 7xx series? I noticed a halving in performance going from the GTA V drivers to the Witcher 3 drivers and I'm wondering if the problem has been fixed or are people just not raising their turnips to sort Nvidia's shit out.

Oh they most certainly destroyed Kepler. My friend with two titan Black superclocked from EVGA only gets about 55-59fps in 1080p max settings.

If they do it to maxwell as well I will never buy a nvidia product ever again. Trust will be ZERO for me and even if amd has less performance at least they keep their cards relevant for longer. However that's only if nvidia fucks me over along with maxwell users. I believe the 980 isonly 5-10% faster yet it takes SLI titan blacks with super-clocks and it still doesn't match one 980. Hell my 970 in my second rig did better.

I don't think they would stoop that low and hope people wouldn't notice. Then again, the 970 fiasco and now Kepler I wouldn't put it past them.

If that became a business trend, I too would seriously consider AMD.

They should at least support the gpu's that cost 1k to buy. Turning a titan black into a potato is not cool! My friend god bless him is buying a 980ti If they screw him twice god that would suck.

Yeah ive got a 760 so its an even bigger hit for me. Im very very very on the edge about going GTX again if this is how they treat my card ive only had for a damn year.

Didn't AMD just do this with the 300 series driver having better tesselation but it can't be used on 200 series cards...? Or the fact someone modded it to work and the 290x got a nice perf bump from the driver it may never itself get.
