note: $300 buget and i dont really mind to much about high imput lag , motion blur etc....... however i still do mind if i can actually notic it.

if it helps my pc parts are :

Welcome to the forums!

I wouldn't really choose my monitor depending on how powerful (atleast if it can drive it anyway) my graphicscard is. Choose whatever fits your pocket and desk :D

Iiyama Prolite B2481HS-B1 ? (don't know where you're from so it might be hard to find it)

Or BenQ XL2411T.

Finding a good 1440p monitor at this price can be tough and maybe impossible. Don't buy cheap Korean monitors, please for the love of god. The 120hz display is a very good experience and worth trying, so I would recommend going with that Benq. Although, with that kind of money you could buy 2 Acer gorgeous IPS monitors for a dual display setup.

Here's the link to the Acer monitor: http://www.amazon.com/Acer-H226HQL-bid-21-5-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B00AZMLIWW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1373976931&sr=8-2&keywords=Acer+h6

Hope it helped!

Just get an Acer S240HLbid. The panel isn't bad and it is a 1080p monitor, so it is pretty much standard.

I wouldn't get a 1440p monitor because in the future, your games will look pretty terrible because your graphics card wil not be powerful enough.

Make sure if the monitor is 1080p, get a 24" screen, make sure it isn't 21.5, or things will look way too small.

Compatible with Windows 95

I would not get anything less than 2560x1440/1600 this day of age.

why

Personal preference? After getting my Yamasaki I'll never look back. Gaming on a 1080p monitor just sucks comparatively.

Why? My friend and I have both have one and they look just as good as my friend's father's Dell U3011.
