When my friend asked me a question about google sheets and I took a little bit to answer since I was doing HW and on LinusTechTips forum, not to mention most "computer experts" (thats what they call me) don't spend their free time on Google Sheets lol.

well, I have to use google stuff in school because they don't have the Microsoft suite at all, and it's free.

At my school, every computer except for ChromeBooks is equipped with Office. We have both the 2010 version and 2013. But the teachers refuse to use it.

That's all it is. A list of users who have used one computer since it was imaged (user names hidden for privacy, other than mine).

I feel really bad for you. My school system skipped Windows Vista (went to 7 in 2013 from XP Pro) and is probably going to go to Windows 10 in a few years. We have an assortment of Lenovo ThinkCentres (some Core 2 Duos and some Core i3s) and Dell OptiPlexs (I think they're 7010s, I can't remember as I rarely get to use those. They have Pentiums). For laptops we have ChromeBooks (don't use them often) and Dell Latitude E5440s. I usually bring my own laptop though.

Oh wow. I forgot to add that we have AutoCAD servers (VMware Horizon) in our datacenter with $1700 Xeons. Many of them. I don't remember the exact CPU model though. I know they're expensive AF.

My has mostly i5 machines from 3rd gen and newer, no gpu. Xeon machines in the cad rooms and a couple trolleys of 4th gen and newer laptops. There's a contract with HP for the desktops and Toshiba for the laptops so they get replaced with newer ones every couple years. Still using 17-19inch 5:4 everywhere apart from the cad rooms though which sucks.
