In a few monthes, I think I'll become the first man to purposely  SLI two 960's.

so you'll effectively have a 2gb 980...

should just sell your current card, otherwise its like somone cf'ing  r9-270's

got sli 970's and sli 9800gtx+'s and had sli gtx 480's, but i sold one.

I'm in, running two Asus GTX 680 "TOP" editions in SLI.  Getting pretty old now though, and only two gigs of vram each  :(

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

I'm considering getting another 780 ti but there's a few issues keeping me from buying that second 780 ti...  :(

Long time SLI'er here.

Started with evga gtx 280 x2.

Then Galaxy gtx 460 SC x2.

Then evga gtx 580 SSC x2. ( one blew and evga replaced it, put both in 2 different comps and have been running a single evga 770 sc in my current system )

In about 2 weeks I will be running SLI again. Currently building a new system which will have a build log soon (already up on jayztwocents.com).

This will be a new X99 build with Asus gtx 980 Strix sc 4gb cards.

This will also be a first for me. I have had my cup under water a few times before, but this whole system will be under water with 2 ek full cover blocks already to go on this week as I put everything together.

yep , but i got an upgrade the next day to 2 680's so all wasn't lost (gotta love having a system builder/it specialist for a dad)
