BIOS back to default after hard restart

When i do a hard restart of my PC and start it back up, my BOIS goes back to default, it sets my date to 2012 and all my overclocking settings are gone. its getting annoying, any ideas? Thanks in advance! :) 
BTW: i have a asrock z77 motherboard

Looks like a dead cmos battery.

Its just a small battery you have to replace, something like this: (location may vary)
