Can you just protest whenever you like? Here in Germany you need a permission to protest which is nearly always granted but the police needs information because they will accompany the protest to avoid damage and keep everyone safe. 

 

Why is your president so much hated? I didn't hear any bad news from your country lately.

Well I'm back, Didn't see much of the protests but I came to work early to be safe and there were almost no cars on the road... I imagine the protests were granted because it's the DA (The only political party worth voting for here) running the protests, Most people just assumed it was going to turn violent even with the police there because 90% of our protests end in deaths, assaults and/or looting and damage (At least from my experience anyway)

 

Most people hate him because he's a corrupt puppet running South Africa into the ground and only got where he is now by piggybacking off of Mandelas legacy and as a result the majority of his voters come from the rural uneducated poverty stricken areas, they are being manipulated to vote for him because they don't know any better and think that other parties (Specifically the DA) are going to bring back apartheid which is obviously not the case.

 

Fun Facts about Zuma:

 

. Zuma  has been to court for raping a woman and during the trials burst into song "Umshini wami", a song that loosely translates to "Bring me my machine gun"

. Zuma claimed he had taken a shower after having sex to prevent himself from getting aids
