ALTHOUGH, I'm still on the fence about upgrading the CPU, RAM, and motherboard now and pick up the GPU next year. It's roughly the same price as upgrading the GPU now, though, it would allow me to stream using OBS without having to suffer in games like CS:GO with frame drops down to the double figures. 

Right now it's finding out what other's think about that and maybe the flip of a coin, haha.

Yeah that's why I was so curious as to how the 7700 could offer such a significant performance jump over the 4790, I'm putting my money on the clock speed as being the most significant difference between the two when it comes to gaming alone.

Becuase it's ultimatly still a tech forum, so computers and technology is a common interst. 

And why shouldn't we talk about what intersts us? 

 

Just talking about being LGBT or LGBT issues would become stale rather quickly.

It was OK. First were my friends (who are really homophobic, btw, so you can imagine how that should have gone) and that went well. I told the first on Saturday night (I didn't even realize it was April Fool's) and he was like "Oh, so that explains the vintage, rainbow Apple logo". He was fine with it and my other friend just is a little quiet around me. So overall it was fine, but I'm not going to tell my parents.

Glad that it went as well as it had. My mum found out when I was 16 ish. She stumbled upon some um .. questionable content on my computer. She was completely okay with it and said she kind of always knew anyway. Move 16 years later ... I dont think she would want a str8 son now! Shes proud of me.

I'm not gay, I feel more Bi/Straight BUT I know that if I was Gay and My Mum were to find out -- She'd be totally fine with it.

There was this gay couple on a show and the australian guys parents didn't accept him for who he was basically and my mum reacted like "Oh you BITCH" "Why can you let your son be who he wants?"

Aww that's nice! My mum is a strong advocate for LGBT rights now ... shes a straight talker and throws serious shade on anyone who doesn't love people who they are. She had some very choice words with a bully and his mom at my little brothers school. (It wasn't related to him) but she really dug into him. It was seriously funny to watch.

I tell my mom I don't wanna have a life, that I wanna be a NEET forever but she said no. She isn't accepting me for who I am, triggered.

Some people could aren't accepted by their own family for being who they are. This is LGBT not being a complete shut in.

He probably meant it in a context of ... many young people tend to sound homophobic when in peer groups, aka "That's Gay, suck a dick etc etc etc" just to blend in ... but when someone in their group actually is gay/bi or comes out they tend to be supportive mostly
