100K Vessel Subs: Linus's Computer

Disclaimer: I see there is one poll with a yes or no question to whether Linus should give away his personal rig.  However, sometimes questions are not as simple as "yes or no".

 

After watching all of Linus's personal rig update videos, I can not help but say I would feel weird owning his personal computer.  Hypothetically speaking, if I were to win his computer, I would either donate it back to Linus or donate it to some greater cause. (i.e. a young gamer with a terminal illness)  However, I was wondering what everyone would do if they won Linus's personal rig.

Or if I was forced to take it I'd steal some parts from it for my own rig and then sell the rest.  Custom PC's are just that, custom.  And I don't feel any sense of achievement from saying "yeah look at my awesome PC that I DIDN'T make myself."  For me building your own rig is about actually doing it.

Even though I'm sure he has enough parts laying around the house, and we all know to take that literally, to build numerous systems. I could not and/or will not accept it either. So, in the highly unlikely event that I should win, could you maybe just sub it with some of those parts laying around the house? Voted to keep it.  If memory serves the case was the gift, and would insist Linus keep the case if he has any desire to.

If he's still got those 8 SSDs raided in it they could make for a pretty epic set of coasters(says the guy who's still on core2duo).

 

A 100k subs to vessel would be a pretty epic achievement for LMG though.  And as much as I'd like Linus to be able to keep his PC, I do hope he loses it (b/c 100k subs).
