Massdrop INSANE Shipping Prices

I noticed that Massdrop has a triple monitor stand, and in the future (idk when) I want to upgrade from double, to triple 27" monitors, so I took a peak at this stand. Then I noticed the wonderful shipping charge.

And I thought the shipping to asia was bad.

I've bought some stuff on massdrop/amazon, and there were no custom fees when they entered Canada. This also (cleverly) never shows exchange rate. So in reality instead of $150, I'd be paying about $320 CAD.

I'm pretty sure just weight of the thing will be huge factor. But really, you guys in US/CA have no place complaining about high shipping fees. Unless you order from Asia or Europe.

Shipping costs to Canada is getting ridiculous. I often search the web and all the major e-sellers (newegg, amazon, etc.), only to find out it's still cheaper to go to my local brick & mortar store and buy it there. In fact, quite often the prices at my local store (Canada Computers, mainly) are lower even before shipping. Only in rare cases have I seen a better deal online (for something I was looking for).
